Ch 1, turn. (6 sc) Rows 2 to 24: Sc in back loop only of each sc of previous row. Ch 1. turn. At end or row 24, ch 1, turn work so that you are able to work 24 sc across the long end of the cuff. Then continue pattern to work the top portion of the golf club cover as follows: 2nd, 3rd & 4th Row: Sc in each sc of previous row. Join with white yarn, Ch 1, turn. 5th & 6th Rows: Sc in each sc of previous row. Join with red yarn, ch 1, turn. 7th to 13 Rows: Sc in each sc of previous row. Ch 1, turn. 14th to 18th Rows: Dec at beg and end of each row. 19th Row: Sc in each sc across. Leave a long thread to weave through the stitches of this last row. Pull thread tightly to close the top of the golf club cover. End off. Darn ends in. To make more golf club covers with more strips as shown in photo above: More white strips are made by joining white yarn and making two rows of sc in white, then changing to red yarn and making two rows of sc in red. Use basic pattern as above.
